Day 11. Wed, Feb 9: Visit at Mahatma Ghandi Mission

Today's route: staying in Aurangabad

Weather: hot

Cycled: 0km

Didn't cycle: Switch between autos and private cars to do our shopping (finally find the right USB hub to work on the Macbook Air we carry), get Wiebke’s gear shifts fixed at a cycling workshop and visit the Arshak Kranti Institute to hear about their theory of economic change.

Ate & drank:
10.30am: egg burghi (W), poha and fried veg cakes (K), coffee, chai, H2O
2:30pm: curd rice and chaaz (butter milk) (W), ????? (K)
9pm: wonderful dinner with a whole bunch from Journalism College and their friends at a nice terrace restaurant in town. Snacked on different entries, main courses, enjoyed a beer (or two?)

Highlight of the day: the enthusiastic students who fired one great question after another at us when we visited them in their college. They showed us their great facilities all equipped with their own media studio, library and much more. Part of one of the best universities of this country, we also get to learn about the history of this place.

Health Check: Wiebke weak-ish with tummy troubles returning and getting some extra rest at the hotel, Kalyan so-so.

Stayed at: Sahara Hotel. Still 900rs/night for the AC room.
