Since the birth of the idea for The Glass Half Full many individuals and organisations have been inpsired by our vision for an adequate world for all.

Within just 3 months 14443 Euro and generous donations of services and products in-kind have been provided for start up costs such as logo and website, travel expenses and the necessary equipment for the research journey itself including the bicycles, accessories and cycling gear, photo and video gear and much more.

What’s still needed?
The kick-off of was only possible because so many people contributed what was feasible to them - by donating their time, expertise or supporting us financially with whatever small or large amount they could. Behind us there is no World Bank or Development Agency as we want to be independent of vested interests and open to changing our approach where necessary and helpful. Whilst the team of The Glass Half Full has committed to working pro-bono for up to 1 year, bearing all additional costs during the research journey are beyond our scope. These costs are approx. 1 Euro per km (i.e. 60 Indian Rupees/km).
